Terrible. We we with a large party and several of us were asked to sit straddling table legs. I ordered a steak medium rare and was served a medium well steak. By the time my second steak arrived, I was packing up a $60 doggie bag. This place is nothing exceptional. The decor is nice, but not great, the service seems bothered to have to be at work at all and the food is ok, but not anything special.

Wouldn't spend another penny here. It is way overpriced and overrated. Went for lunch...the view is outstanding I will give them that. It was a beautiful day and I highly recommend sitting on the balcony as it overlooks the golf course and feels very country club-like. Anyway...as a table we ordered shrimp cocktail with a side to start. The side was supposed to be spinach in garlic and olive oil with a touch of salt and pepper. We waited, and waited, and waited. Meantime it wasnt busy as it was a 3pm reservation and they were preparing for dinner at this point. Nevertheless, I waited up until it felt like just about 30 minutes for a simple side dish and shrimp cocktail which is already pre made if i had to take a guess. I asked the waiter who happened to be very nice where our shrimp cocktail and side dish was...he made like a oh crap face and came up with some excuse on the spot saying he was holding off on the shrimp because they were just finishing up cooking the spinach. Now...it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that spinach is the fastest cooking vegetable, alongside mushrooms... We said ok no problem and continued to wait. Finally the waiter brings out the shrimp and said you know what, get started on this..the spinach should be out soon. Well why in the world would you have us waiting the whole time for the spinach if you wanted to serve the shrimp with it? The shrimp were mediocre. The spinach came out and was cold and cooked with a ton and I mean A TON of salt...luckily I have low blood pressure, but this was not even edible. I finally went inside to speak to a manager. He was apologetic and I told him it was my first time along with my other two guests first time and we were recommended by family friends to try the place out that I really hope my entrees come out good so that it could make up for this experience thus far. One of the guests i was with got fish, the other got the fried fish sandwich and I got a cheeseburger medium. The burger came out medium well and nearly burnt. The fries were ice cold. I finally ask for the manager back. They took my burger away and I shared the fried fish and french fries with the other guest. He apologized and was embarrassed at this point, but was very nice. Two of my guest ordered unsweetened iced teas. The first batch was good. Second refill was TERRIBLE. I tried it because I didn't believe how everything one after the other was going so wrong. It tasted like chemicals...I was so embarrassed I spit it out in front of the manager. The manager even tried it and he too said it was "off" We tried this place again because they said this never happens and that their cooler system was down so that's why they thought the service was so bad. They insisted we give it another try. We came back with an even bigger party and they proved us right...between service and quality of food, it was AWFUL.

Great service and good food! If you dine here, I would recommend the patio. I had dinner on the patio as the sun was setting. It was absolutely beautiful, overlooking the golf course and seeing the sunset in downtown palm beach. I ordered the sweet corn and lobster chowder for a starter. Just a headsup it's not a regular cup of soup- it is in a very large bowl. I could've had that as my meal. Lots of lobster chunks; they were not cheap with this soup. For my main course I ordered the petite filet mignon with parmesan steak fries. The steak was a little too well for me but it was still great! And the steak fries were the biggest steak fries I've had! The bread that they bring out is amazing! Warm and fresh out of the oven. The butter that accompanies the bread was a sweet butter with Hawaiian sea salt. I could have just the bread all night! From the hostess stand, the bartenders, waiters and managers had excellent service. The staff was great- very friendly and came around to check up on you often to make sure you're having a good evening. The waiters knew a lot about the menu too! It's just located right across the street from the breakers so after dinner you can walk back to your room which is great!

Outstanding atmosphere on the 18th hole of The Breakers Hotel Golf Course. The New York Strip was cooked perfect and had great flavor. Service was also very good. Nice Steak House!

Beautiful property! We had dinner overlooking the course. We started with crab dumplings and they were delicious! Wife and I followed that by caesar salad split. I had the filet as main course and wife had the stuffed shrimp. We finished off by splitting the key lime pie-was excellent. Our 4 year old had the fried chicken kids meal, which was the best tasting kids meal he has ever had (with the exception of one of our home town favorite places where he gets homemade mac n cheese). I had a glitch with my steak not being cooked at the correct temp but other than that it was smooth sailing. (The manager on duty was excellent and when he heard my steak was not cooked to my desired temp he came by to apologize in person and offer a new steak.)

We had our first experience here on Father's Day. They were featuring a pre-fix meal for $45.99 and $15.00 unlimited mimosas or bloody Mary's. Some of our guests ordered off the pre fix menu and ordered what they are known for...steak. The first steak came out medium well instead of medium rare. Once the knife sliced through the meat you could definitely tell it was over cooked. The waitress came by and was told about the steak. We were so hungry by this time that we refused to have another made. The manager came by and insisted another steak cooked to perfection without charge. The second steak came out and it was still not cooked right. We have up at this point. How could you have the name of Flagler Steakhouse and not cook steak perfect? We also ordered their crab cakes appetizer- really good, chowder soup- very tasty!, and their NY strip- pretty good. The strawberry cheesecake was delicious. The service was very good and accommodating. Our server was super nice. I noticed she used big adjectives to capture our attention. The view is spectacular. We took several pics on the veranda. If I am hungry for steak I would go to Calleros in Lake Worth. It is way better and much cheaper.

Spent a few days at the Breakers to recharge and it is always a joy to come back to one of the best steakhouses in our area. I can't help but eat too much but the food is soo darn good. The bone-in filet is top notch. Cookies and milk for dessert is always a sweet treat. We will be back soon. Rob

Prices are no higher than your average high end steakhouse. What is different is the aging process. Dry aged beef just tastes different. The filet I had could have been cut with my fork; it was so tender. That was day one. Day two was the Rib Eye. Probably the best Rib Eye I've had in a long time. The burgers, fries (although a bit soggy, they tasted delicious), the salads, the onion rings, and desserts. We stayed for a few days and spent each day having a meal here. Yes, there are other restaurants, but for the weekend we wanted to have...this place was perfect. I dare say, we will be coming back to the Breakers just to eat here.

Good food, great service and high prices, the prices were exceptionally high. You are paying for the location and the name. The food was good but no better than other restaurants in the area at half the price. Of course, if you are coming here, then money shouldn't be a concern. The service was excellent and unpretentious, which was appreciated. The outdoor patio with heaters was pleasant even in cool weather. My husband and I shared the $60 seafood appetizer. It was delicious with a variety of seafood, a sampling of clams, oysters, lobster, crab and shrimp. We then ordered the Steak Au Poivre and the Natural Veal Chop. These House Specialties came with one side. All other sides were an additional $14. With a few glasses of wine, chardonnay at $16 a glass, and a shared dessert, our bill came to $352 including the gratuities. Definitely a special-occasion dinner if you don't have to worry about cost.

Amazing food and ambience. Worth every penny. We had the bone in filet with the lobster tail from South Africa... DE-LI-CIOUS!!! The Bibb salad with linguica dressing (from the kale salad) And the brussel sprouts with bacon bits.... Mmmmm. The tres leches is a MUST for dessert. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Everything done perfectly. Enjoy... P.S. Request a table overlooking the balcony on the golf course.

I love this place so much! It is literally the perfect place to come for Sunday brunch, lunch, or dinner. It has a beautiful view of the golf course and it so nice sitting outside and its very elegant inside. All the staff members are very nicely dressed and the decor is simply exquisite. This is definitely a great place to come for Sunday brunch. I most definitely recommend sitting outside. I love the fact that they have bottomless mimosas and bloody marys. The mimosas are definitely superb. Normally when restaurants offer bottomless mimosas, they aren't very good and the champagne isn't as bubbly, but Flagler Steakhouse by far has the best mimosas!!!! I just had dinner here for mothers day dinner and the service was excellent. I am always impressed when they pull out your chair for you and push you in. Our server was super nice, friendly, and attentive, I think his name was Charlie. He was very sweet! They have a great wine selection to choose from, my mom and I did a bottle of vouvray which was the best!!! At first they weren't sure if they even had vouvray because they didn't have a shelf for it or something like that but they managed to find it so we were very happy about that. For appetizers we shared a half dozen oysters on the half shell which were the best ever! They were so fresh and the perfect size. We wanted to take advantage of stone crab season since its about to come to an end in a couple of days so my mom and I each got a stone crab claw and they were simply AMAZING. The mustard sauce was the best mustard sauce I have had yet. Everything on their menu sounded amazing. I got a caesar salad with shrimp. The shrimp were to die for and cooked to perfection. My mom got this almandine sole and she loved it so much, she also got a side of brussel sprouts. They weren't the normal whole brussel sprouts, they were more leafy and torn about but she really liked it. We also got a side of grilled asparagus with a side of hollandaise sauce and it was so amazing. My mom being the sugarholic that she is and "celebrating" mothers day she got a banana split for dessert and took a couple bites since she couldn't eat the entire thing and she said it was the best banana split she had ever had. And to be honest it looked amazing-- If i ate sweets then I totally would have helped her eat it. I finished off the night by having a cup of this tropical green tea, and it was soooooooooo heavenly. I put a little bit of half and half and sweetener in it and it was perfection. We came to dinner around 5:30 and nobody was there, which was kinda nice! It was nice being able to take our time at dinner and not ever being rushed. We probably finished with dinner around 8pm and toward 7/7:30 thats when it started getting busy and I can see why, as the sun goes down its just really really nice to sit outside. I wouldn't mind sitting inside, as it is very elegant however being outside is very spectacular. I would recommend anybody coming here if they want to enjoy spectacular service, beautiful views, a lovely ambiance, and great food. Come for an ultimate 5 star dining experience.

Bring your amex, best outfit and come hungry! Flagler is a top steakhouse and fit for a foodie and wino. But it'll cost you. Our bill for 4 ran us $1,100. But it was a great night! I have never seen better side dishes at a steak house - gorganzola tots?! mac and cheese and more! Terrific wine list - although I wish our waiter knew a bit more about wine - we definitely had to ask a lot of questions and I actually really like being told a bit more about wines and history etc. It may be worth while to have an in house wine specialist available at a place like this! Steak was cooked to perfection, sides were delicious and unique, and the dessert was .. well... amazing. I would likely go back - it's a bit expensive so would only go if we were really looking to have a terrific meal that was going to cost us!

The entire staff is extremely hospitable. Going from Dawn that greeted me the first time i came in to recognizing me the second time i was in. Then to the managers ive met so far CJ and Caleb. The server, Elisa that spells her name the same as me that i only met when she was waiting for her drinks to be made. Then to the bartender Crystal. I went to the bar both times. All friendly informative and genuine. Tried the mac and cheese and it was delicious!

This place is amazing! I have been here multiple times with my wife and we have never been disappointed! From the service to the food you won't be disappointed. We moved here from Chicago and I would say this competes with restaurants from there. You better get the steak because it is in the top three percent of the country!!

Great spot with amazing service. The views are nice from the patio with a consistently pleasent breeze. Everything we ordered came out promptly and as requested. The cigar menu at the end was a nice touch.

Highly recommended: crab claws with Dijon sauce, kale salad with blackened shrimp, and eating on the patio overlooking both the golf course and tennis courts. Recommended: oysters, Cobb salad. Nice staff.

This is a tough one, every thing was perfect except 3 of our steaks were over done by at least two levels. Our fantastic server offered to have them recooked but you know how that screws up the night. The one filet ordered Pittsburg was cook perfectly, it might have been that steak that caused ours to be left on the grill too long. We loved the French onion soup, onion rings and it's nice that potato or veg comes with the steak. Our table outside with view of the golf course could not have been better! Wonderful wine list it's all first class.

This was a terrific choice, went upstairs after golf for a drink, the female bartender was beyond great ( Paula I think) sample of wines to order for the dinner later, the dinner was simply great in all categories.

I loved the location of this restaurant. It was right by the beautiful Breaker's golf course. It was a peaceful view. The restaurant's decor was okay, it almost felt like a house. The customer service was not exceptional or memorable. I ordered the Veal Chop which was mouth watering and tender. I definitely recommend it! The seasoning was just right.

we have been here a # of times, as always great food and service - it is on the pricey side so save your pennies but it is well worth it. disappointed they took the porterhouse for 2 off the menu - that was our go to item - the tomahawk steak was a good replacement.

A high-end steakhouse should know how to do two things correctly. 1. Be able to cook a steak to order. 2. Have staff that know how to act with and treat customers. Flagler Steakhouse can do neither. I was part of a large party that dropped a lot of money to eat here, and are also repeat customers. The only good part of the entire experience was the iceberg salad - which was fantastic. That's where the fantastic things ended. For my meal, I order the filet mignon medium. Basically, the most commonly ordered steak with the most commonly requested temperature. When I received the steak, it was less than rare. The middle almost looked raw. I can't believe the could actually even try to serve that to anybody, at all. It could have been a health issue, it was the severely undercooked. Our waitress then promptly disappeared without coming back for quite a while to check on the table. Someone actually had to wave their arms in the air to get her attention. When I explained the situation, she was unapologetic and brought it back to the kitchen. I then waited. And waited. And waited. Everyone at my table were on their last bites of the meal. So, I got up to find the manager and tell them to forget my meal. On my way up, he was walking over to the table with my cooked beyond recognition steak. When I informed him I no longer wanted it, as I had to wait so long and now my party was practically done eating, he leaned around me and said, "I still see some people at your table eating." I had no words. How dare he say something like that to me after what just happened. I then regained my sense of speech and said I no longer want the steak and the almost $50 cut of meat now looked like a charcoal brick. He kept insisting it was how I asked for it. When I cut into it to show him it wasn't, he said, "it's the lighting in here and you just can't tell." I felt like I was being punk'd. This guy couldn't be serious right? At this point, everyone at the table got angry with him and asked him to leave. The steak was removed from the bill but the experience is not removed from my mind. To keep insisting the customer was wrong, when THEY are the ones paying a lot of money just to get something they order is unbelievable. This guy clearly needs to take some hospitality classes, because he was awful. I will NEVER be returning here. I was here with a bunch of people who do a lot of business dinners here and they will not be returning either. For a high-end restaurant, they are massively failing.

Went here for a client lunch. Folks, i've lived in a lot of foodie cities. Palm Beach has some good restaurants but not on the level of a San Francisco or New York. So when I come across a place that is superlative, I need to recognize it. Not only does the Flagler steakhouse have a beautiful, serene and elegant atmosphere, the food is top notch outstanding. Two of my clients got steaks (the recommended bone-in strip), I got the short-rib grilled cheese and client #3 got the salmon. Everybody was very pleased. I will definitely be making this a regular spot for entertaining clients and future date-nights with my wife.

Wow. Hard to know where to begin on this great and memorable meal. I was taken here as a surprise for my birthday. We were promptly greeted, brought to a lovely table on the balcony, and immediately approached by our waitress who was friendly, helpful, and very attentive. Cocktails were excellent (I highly recommend the Loaded Martini). Wedge Salad and Heirloom Tomato Salad were both tasty and good portions. Bread was fresh and warm. Water was regularly refilled and the check-ins were well paced and non-intrusive to our conversation. We were served our Porterhouse for 2, and after 3 bites the power went out and fire alarm was triggered shortly thereafter. Due to Palm Beach laws, we had to evacuate the building but were told to take our wine (excellent suggestion) while we waited outside. Some of the outrage expressed by a few guests was nothing short of embarrassing and a number of them skipped the bills and left. We enjoyed the time having wine and chatting with our waitress and a few other servers/managers who were outside making sure people were comfortable. When the power was restored, they immediately took our steak back, re-cooked another one (which was equally delicious), treated us to a FABULOUS bottle of wine, threw in dessert/coffee, and gave a generous discount on the remaining bill. I've always been a believer that the quality of a restaurant is as much in how they handle problems as it is in the food and general service. Well, suffice to say that this crew outdid themselves. We felt extremely well cared-for and realize that some issues simply happen and should be accepted as a matter of course knowing that it will be rectified. Flagler Steakhouse did not disappoint. As for the remainder of the food, the Porterhouse was delicious and perfectly cooked. The Banana Bread Pudding was delectable and we opted for the vanilla ice cream instead of rum raisin at the suggestion of our waitress. We also had the mint chocolate ice cream sundae served with a hot brownie. Yum. THANK YOU for a wonderful experience and it has only taken 1 visit to turn us into big fans! Can't wait to go back!

I have been impressed and complimentary of the Breakers resort but in all honesty this was not a place I would return to. It is a beautiful setting and the staff is very well trained The food was just not that interesting or worthy of the price. Wine list is3x retail or more and a mediocre by the glass offering. The crab dumpling appetizer was wonderful and would be worthy of a return visit. Caesar salad and apple Gorgonzola salad were not that good. Filet was good and cooked as requested. Tomahawk ribeye dry aged was oaky but we had a more flavorful and tender ribeye at Morton's the night before. A $12 key lime resulted in one taste and then set it aside. The was no lime flavor, just a bland sweet concotion. We mentioned it to the server but he already had the check in hand and made no adjustments. Same for a peach crostini which was a good idea but the peaches were green with no taste. I wanted to like this place and I did, but not the food.... When a steakhouse has hotdogs and hamburgers on the main menu it should tell you something

Torn between a three and four star rating. So I guess it is 3+. Went on a Monday night in late April at 6:30 and the place filled up quickly. In fact it was noticeably noisy, as the room is cavernous. Service was good but not exceptional. I had the bone-in NY strip (medium) and it was top notch. The spinach salad, baked potato and side of broccoli were mediocre. The setting and decor are wonderful (quite clubby), the ambiance would be perfect but for the noise. The prices rival Ruth's Chris, Capitol Grill and Morton's, where the service is much better and all the sides are as good as the entree. But that's the price you pay for dining on-property at a top resort and on the Island of Palm Beach.

Food was good but not great. Took two hours before we got our entree. They adjusted our bill somewhat but it was still embarrassing to us with our out of town guests.

This restaurant is getting four stars on the steak alone. I had the dry-aged rib chop and it was awesome. Lena C. had the bone in filet and she said it was the best steak she had ever had. I could agree. Now why four stars and not five? The service wasn't great. Lena C. ordered the cream corn soup and all of the potatoes were hard. Did the chef not taste his food? After this discovery it took me 15 minutes to flag down the waitress who then brought out the French onion soup which was over reduced. The Wedge Salad had a strange japanese steakhouse type dressing on it a little strange with blue cheese. The dessert was not memorable and we were brought the tab before I was asked if I wanted an after dinner drink. If you decide to go here stick with the steak and potatoes. The steak fries were awesome.

I found the food acceptable (steak excellent), the service slow and the wine list absurdly over priced and undistinguished. There are a number of places in Palm Beach that are significantly superior.

My date and I had a nine o'clock reservation and they sat us down immediately. Waitress listed off the specials, took our drink order, and brought over some bread. I told the waitress that I was fixed on a steak and to order me a glass of red wine that went well with my dinner. It was an excellent glass of wine. My date was fixed on the lobster-tail and to her disappointment, they ran out. I wish the waitress told us earlier. I opted for the Rib-Eye and my date ordered the daily fish. 10 mins later the mushroom and goat cheese bruchetta came out and it was delicious. 30 minutes later, our dinner comes. Most people would be perturbed by this, but a fine dining experience like this takes time and time we had. The rib-eye and mashed potatoes were out of this world. Without question, it was the best steak I ever had. The daily fish (I can't remember what it was) but it was exquisite as well. For dessert, we ordered the Key Lime Pie which was great. Usually I find key lime pie to be tart (a turn off for me), but their key lime pie was nice and smooth without losing the key lime taste. I will definitely be going back in the future. If it wasn't for the lobster-tail disappointment, they would earn 5 stars.

Our return luncheon at the Flagler Steak House was all we could hope for. Our server, Alexei, was wonderful and made the total experience very enjoyable. A few of us had the Wahoo, which was perfectly prepared. No complaints. We would definitely recommend.

Saturday afternoon, my cousin, sister and I are determined to make our dinner reservations at The Flagler Steakhouse even under horrible weather. What should have been a 30 - 45 mins drive took us close about an hour and a half, which is no problem for 3 girls we always have something to talk about but, we were a bit worried about losing our reservation. Called the restaurant to notify we were going to be late "no problem, see you soon" they said. The Flagler is part of The Breakers Hotel but not inside it, it's right across their main entrance, and it's right in front of the Golf Course. Complementary valet parking, waiting area downstairs, restaurant is up the stairs, second floor. You can get there by elevator too. Even though we were late, the hostesses were very friendly and accommodating, even apologizing for making us wait for a table. Just 15 minutes after we're seated and William, our server, introduced us to his assistant (sorry, don't remember name) and our wonderful dinner started. At this time they're offering the Pre-Fixed dinner menu for $35.00 so we took advantage of that. There were 4 items to chose from as appetizer, 3 choices for Main Course, and 3 choices for dessert. Also, for $9.00 extra you could include a glass of a preselected wine. One of the appetizer items was French Onion soup, asked our server if we could have the Corn Chowder instead, as part of the special and they did (I know for a fact some other restaurants stick to that menu no changes). The Corn Chowder is delicious! My sister had the onion soup and loved it too. The 3 Main Course items were at our table since we all ordered something different. I had the Filet Mignon (Medium Well). I know, you're thinking OMG that's drying the meat, well not here. The knife went through it like butter, perfectly cooked, juicy and full of flavor. Side was a loaded mashed potato (too salty for my taste) but tasted really good, and asparagus. For dessert we all ordered the Key Lime Pie. I'm not a fan, but this was really good. Served with Blackberries, a bit of whipped cream and a very think sugar waffle crisp on top, it's a simple but beautiful presentation. Servers were more than excellent, they were happy to answer any question we had, accommodate any request, making sure everything was to our satisfaction, and always with a sincere smile. To say even more, we were the last ones there, and one more person. They're getting ready to close but we wanted to take a look at the outside seating, they waited patiently while we all talked, enjoyed the outside view, and wished us a very sincere good night and thank you for coming when we left. We all had a great experience here at The Flagler, we had nothing but praise and compliments for the food and staff. Definitely a place I recommend and would love to go again.

After a long hiatus, I dined with seven other people at the Flagler Steakhouse this past Saturday and must say that while the food was good on the whole, the service was poor for the amount one pays to dine here. The restaurant, part of the Breakers Hotel, is located across the street from the main hotel in the golf clubhouse on the second floor. The indoor dining area itself is rather small, although very attractive with warm beige colors dominating. An impressive chandelier hangs from the cathedral like ceiling and wooden chairs that are quite comfortable with striped upholstery surround the tightly packed tables. Outdoor seating is also available on a terrace overlooking the golf course and downtown West Palm Beach. We had an 8:00 p.m. reservation and arrived on time. The restaurant was not ready for us so we waited about 20-25 minutes for our table. This however was only the beginning of our waiting on this night. The host comped us a round of drinks to make up for the delay in our reservation. We were then seated and waited a while before the waiter took our order. The menu consisted of the usual steakhouse fair along with seafood dishes. After placing our orders we once again waited...and waited...and waited some more. The appetizers came out, and at that time, my father was told that they were out of the chicken he ordered. OK, they were out of chicken-weird. My father looked at the menu again and ordered sole. Five minutes later, the host came over. They were also out of sole. This is strange. I have never been to a restaurant, especially one of this caliber, that has run out of two basic dishes such as chicken and sole. I understand a lack of prime rib, but chicken? I mean come on they are joking right? Nope, out of chicken and sole. Order again. So my Dad finally ordered a steak. Moving on, for my appetizer I had the escargot served in a garlic butter sauce with puffed pastries. They were very good, but not great. Other diners had the clams and salads. One diner I was with needed to return the clams as they were not served hot but warm and did not have the crispness you hope for. It took a while to return the clams. My grandmother said her clams were particularly sandy. After finishing the appetizers, once again we waited...and waited for our dishes to be removed. Sensing a theme? Entrees were served. At Flagler Steakhouse there must be at least three waiters delivering entrees simultaneously which is pretty cool, but then this process keeps the waiters from their other tables, so the coolness is outweighed by the logistical nightmare it creates. I had a fillet mignon which in all honesty was delicious. It was cooked to perfection, a nice medium rare, that was buttery soft and juicy, although it could have been served a bit hotter. I also sampled the chicken which was salty and juicy with wonderful flavor. The sweet potato accompanying my steak was great as were the sides of onion strings and corn off the cob. The creamed spinach was nothing special and was not exactly creamed. After eating, once again we had to wait and wait for our dishes to be cleared. It was closing in on two and a half hours for appetizers and entrees. As it was my family birthday dinner, my parents arranged a cake for me provided by the restaurant. It was a chocolate on chocolate layer cake and the layered chocolate tasted like pudding - simply delicious. However, the cake was served a good ten minutes before the beverages we ordered with dessert came out. At this point the restaurant was nearly empty and the lack of coordination was inexcusable. The cappuccino I ordered however, was rich and tasty. My father told me that they did take some charges off the bill, but the service was so slow they damn well should have. For a highly rated hotel and its affiliated steakhouse, the service should be nearly perfect. The service here though was not. I enjoyed my food, and the good company I was with took it all in stride, but this was a seriously long dining experience for a pretty straightforward three course meal. Although the food was very good, the service was far below what it should have been and I am rounding up my 2 1/2 stars to a generous 3.

Amazing!! A steakhouse thats filled with flavor and finesse. Excellent service, great food. Dry Aged NY Strip the best I have ever had! Plus everything that came with it was marriaged well. Very expensive, would spend it 50 times more. Enjoy, R

Spent a few days at the Breakers to recharge and it is always a joy to come back to one of the best steakhouses in our area. I can't help but eat too much but the food is soo darn good. The bone-in filet is top notch. Cookies and milk for dessert is always a sweet treat. We will be back soon. Rob

Well this is a beautiful restaurant and I have been coming here for years. The place just recently had a make over and does it look great. The food is awesome. Very good steaks very well prepared with a chard burn taste to them hummm. Don't be shy to ask for medium or medium rare , they always get it right here. Good wine selection and fair prices on drinks. Steaks went up a little but they include a side , not a bad deal for a place of this caliber. The only thing I notice is that the steaks went down a little in size, but only a little , still delicious and I say the best tasting steak in West Palm. Service is impeccable and the location, which sits on the golf course, is stunning. Ps starters and seafood appetizers are amazing. Great at night time with an amazing glow.

Awesome place - had the surf and turf, upgraded to the bone-in filet. The steak was very good, but the lobster tail was huge and one of the best I have ever had. Sides were good too.

Nice staff.

Mother's Day Brunch was Incredible! My husband and I took our mothers here for Mothers Day Brunch since we had been staying at the Breakers all weekend. The restaurant was beautiful. It was bright inside the main dining area. I hadn't realized there was outdoor seating when we made the reservation, otherwise I would have requested a table on the outside porch overlooking the golf course. The service was incredible. I believe the name of our main servers were Matthew and Rose Ann. Everyone was friendly and attentive. I appreciate the small things. Everyone wished our mothers a happy mothers day and made sure our mothers were taken care of first. When the dishes came out, multiple servers came out all at once so everyone at our table received their dish at the exact same moment. Our entire table ordered the crab appetizer, which was outstanding. Several of us ordered the steak and eggs, due to the recommendation from one of the servers. The steak was juicy and delicious. We all ordered a different desser and every dessert was equally as yummy. I cannot pick a favorite. I thought the price of the brunch was very reasonable. It was $55 per person, but it was a 3-dish gourmet and delicious meal. I will definitely come back.

In The Breaker's tradition of only the best, Flagler's Steakhouse was great. The valet was welcoming as also the receptionist. The ambiance of the Rat-Pack sets the mood for what you'd expect of a restaurant designed to satisfy the taste buds in a style of the 60's. The staff is helpful and attentive. I had the best onion soup with a large layer of gruyère cheese. What I wanted for an entrée wasn't on the menu but the chef was willing to provide it. I ordered a nice size filet mignon smothered in a wonderful gorgonzola cheese sauce and a side of pasta Alfredo. If you like both of these, they go great together. I explained to the waitress (very nice) how I wanted the sauces and the chef prepared them to perfection. A nice bourbon accompanied the filet. I can't speak to the desserts because I was too satisfied to continue but a cappuccino finished quite well. You can keep your trendy places, I'll go with the tried and true when I really want a great taste.

Had a great time celebrating an important birthday. Our waiter Jeff was super helpful and solicitous. Caesar salad was exceptional as were the veal chops. Wine list had a lot to choose from at all price levels. We selected a lower priced Pinot Noir which turned out to be excellent. Key Lime desert was also great. Fair warning: this is not an inexpensive meal. Service is included but came to about $150 pp for cocktails, one bottle of wine, and 3 courses. If weather works, request to sit on the porch. Makes the meal even more special.

Food and service were excellent. I do feel it is a bit overpriced. I had the bone in filet with crab Oscar. To die for. Wife had Kale salad, Brussels sprouts and the artichoke hearts. All really, really good. But at some point you have to ask how much is too much? I think my steak was about $86. Pretty close to "too much".

Wanted to try a Flagler Hotel restaurant to check out hotel. If you eat at one of their restaurants, they validate mandatory $20 valet parking. And this is only restaurant where non-guests and non-club members can have lunch. Restaurant is not in hotel but in separate bldg across street. Connected to golf club. Our party of four had lunch on the outside second floor veranda overlooking the golf course. In our early 60's we were among youngest people there. If you want to study the local elder Palm Beach crowd in their natural habitat, this is one of the places. Well-dressed 80-ish plus crowd. Service was very good but relaxed. If you want a nice 2 hour lunch... We had different salads and sandwiches. Food was average: well presented, ok to fair quality. And outrageously expensive - about $20 for a simple salad or sandwich. Small to medium portions. If you have to ask the price.... I think I'm glad we tried it once but that's it.

Outstanding atmosphere on the 18th hole of The Breakers Hotel Golf Course. The New York Strip was cooked perfect and had great flavor. Service was also very good. Nice Steak House!

Awesome place - had the surf and turf, upgraded to the bone-in filet. The steak was very good, but the lobster tail was huge and one of the best I have ever had. Sides were good too.
